When people ask us how we got started making bean-to-bar chocolate, we say, βIt all started with coffee.β Hobbies add interest to life. Brewing, printmaking, painting, building, gardening, winemaking, baking, raising ducks, keeping bees, and raising children are just a few of ours. It wasn't until Andy began roasting coffee that the idea of making bean-to-bar chocolate was conceived. Andy's passion for coffee roasting led us down a path we never expected. As we became more and more immersed in the world of coffee, a new idea began to take shape in our minds: what if we could make chocolate, from scratch? And so, the seed of a delicious obsession was planted, and we began to explore the world of bean-to-bar chocolate making together.
Duo Chocolate Company was established with a passion for creating unique chocolate flavors. We adore the entire process, from sourcing the beans to roasting and tempering. Our beans are carefully selected from small farms around the globe. We use only quality ingredients from organic cane sugar to the inclusions we add to our specialty bars. We aim to produce chocolate that we love to eat, and we hope you will too.

Our Colorado State Cottage license allows us to produce chocolate in a home kitchen that is not subject to state license or inspection and may contain food allergens such as peanuts, milk, wheat.
This license limits us to ship only to residents in Colorado.
